Recording and privacy

Read itStarting a meeting
Press Start a meeting on the home page for one that begins immediately, or use Schedule to put one in the calendar. Either way you get a code you can send to people.
To join one someone else started, use Join with a code and type the code they sent you. It looks like abc-defg-hij.
Recording a meeting
Only the host can start a recording, and only if the meeting was set up for it. If the recording button is greyed out, open the capture panel — it tells you exactly which of the four conditions is not met, rather than just refusing.
The most common reason is that the meeting was created without recording switched on. That cannot be changed mid-meeting; start a new one with it enabled.

Something is not working
If a meeting will not connect, the video service may be down — you will see a message saying so rather than a generic error. Wait a moment and try again.
For anything else, contact IT support on extension 204. If you saw an error message, the reference code at the bottom of it helps them find what happened.
